I followed this link from Martha's blog. On my trip to Florida this past January, we went to Epcot. While in France, I tried this marvel from the bakery after it was recommended to me by a friend. This is a Napolean, flaky pastry with custardy filling. It was very good, but I could've used a dose of chocolate. That's just me. I took the picture to send back to my friend in frigid Chicago.
See the original challenge here!

Oh yum! Napeoleans are probably my all time favorite dessert! ::wiping the drool off my keyboard now:: Yum, yum, yum!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lin. So glad you found my site...and of COURSE you can play along :)
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Montreal, so pastry like this is near and dear to my heart. The local variation was called mille feuille, and was a rare and treasured treat. You've made me very, very hungry all of a sudden!
Great choice for the theme. I do hope you share your creativity on this and future TP themes as well: you have quite the eye.
I got something similar in spain last year and couldnt stop eating them.
ReplyDeleteYum, it looks quite delicious. My hubby would have it all gone in about 3 minutes I think... he has a huge sweet tooth. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so yummy!
