I had always believed that WW was not for me. I thought I'd be starving. I didn't want to have to measure everything. But one night my girlfriend invited me to meet her for dinner and pie at Bakers Square. Over dinner, she told me that she was starting ww the next day and asked if I wanted to join her. I figured why not. I knew I had to do something about my weight, I had recently taken my blood pressure at one of those machines at Sams Club, and it was 140/something. I never had high blood pressure before. I figured that low carb was probably not in my best interest if i had high bp. So, I said yes.
We went the next day, Sept. 18th, and signed up for the monthly plan. I loved the e-tools. Makes it easy to journal. My first week I lost over 5 lbs. Wanted more, but not a bad start.
Last week we went to Maui. Here are pictures, I am around 192, so 28 down. Can you tell a difference?

You are looking good, Girl! I can definitely see the difference. Keep it up!

Thanks, Deb,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I see much difference, and noone is yet making comments. But I'm gonna keep going, I'd be happy to fit in those white pants again! Lin
Deb's right Lin; there's definitely a difference - pretty much all over. We can't see the changes in ourselves as quickly as others do. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alx,
ReplyDeleteI guess that is why it is not so noticeable, i have kind of lost all over. I was wearing a size 16 jeans before (tightly) and am now wearing 14's and can't quite get into a 12. So, for almost 30 lbs. lost, you would think it'd be more than a 1 size change! I'm not complaining, maybe by summer, and with the change of clothing, people will notice! Thanks for the comment! Lin
